Little Hollywood is a name that was used by local Olympian residents to refer to the shacks you see in this depression era picture of Capital Lake in downtown Olympia. This kind of tongue in cheek humor is one of my favorite aspects of NW culture so I lifted the name to poke fun at both Big Hollywood and the local music scene - neither of which would want anything to do with each other. It still amuses me, probably because nobody else is laughing.- carl
